So, you want to get into Spirituality eh? Meditate and try achieving the state of extra-consciousness? Alright then, read into this post, its for you!
First of all, for a Spiritual session, you need to make sure that you are seated in an environment that is quiet and peaceful, it needs to be pretty much free from all sorts of noises and external interferences. Some enthusiasts find it better to practice Spirituality in environments that are kind of... disturbing and full of noises, however for beginners to Spirituality, such practices are not recommended.
So then secondly, you need something to settle on, a nice comfortable mat does it for most people, some people go for a cushion, but thats seriously NOT recommended, since cushions deviate your attention from performing a spiritual session to adjusting yourself properly. So yeah, use a comfortable mat for this purpose.
Thirdly, and finally, practice concentration, you need to try and concentrate on one thing. So Spirituality is definitely not for people with ADHD! :) But yes, you need to concentrate a lot on yourself and your brain and most importantly, your spirit to get a good spiritual session.
So be prepared! Because the road to Spiritualising yourself is not only exciting but it can also throw you back in case you couldn't do it properly. So yes, do it, but do it the right way.
